Mrs. Ayad is a senior policy advisor and financial services expert with more than 20 years’ experience acquired across the MENA and Africa region. Her main fields of expertise include capital markets & financial services industry, public policies and development strategies with a focus on sustainable growth, access to finance, climate and sustainable finance, professional real-estate development & investment, private sector development and economic inclusion.
Mrs. Ayad is also serving as Executive Managing Partner of “OTman Management Services Ltd”, a management & strategy consulting firm based in Casablanca, she co-founded in 2013, whose mission is to provide high-value expertise and advisory services to public and private decision-makers address their current and future challenges, and achieve their true growth potential and transform their working environment towards higher efficiency and sustainable value.
Mrs. Ayad started her career as investment advisor for institutional and corporate investors at CFG Group. In 2003, she was granted the prestigious Chevining scholarship to pursue her masters’ degree in finance in London. She then moved to the UAE to work as capital markets and financial services expert within the professional services team of GBM, covering the GCC and Middle east markets. In 2006, Siham joined the Qatar Financial Markets Authority as Director of Research, Strategy and International Affairs, where she helped launch the newly created authority and let the subsequent institutional and operational activities related to effective implementation including the set-up of supervision and licensing processes, the design and deployment of the market’s reform as well as associated regulatory process to the Doha Stock Exchange incorporation. Upon her return to Morocco in 2010, she joined the ONAPAR Group; a subsidiary of the SNI Group based in Morocco, specialized in Real Estate Development & related Investments, as Chief Executive Director in charge of Strategic Project Development & Investments.
Beyond her professional activities, Siham is actively engaged in civil society activities, individually et as part of collective initiatives (NGOs, networks, think-tanks…), with a particular focus in Africa and the Arab world and the fields of education, fair access to culture and technology, climate and territorial justice, economic and social inclusion of women.
Siham holds a Masters’ of Science in Finance from Cass Business School (London, UK), and a BBA from ISACE Group.
